Use：
Acarbose is a novel oral hypoglycemic agent. It is generally used alone, or in combination with other oral hypoglycemic drugs, or insulin. Acarbose is usually used with meals to treat the insulin-dependent or non-tnsulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.
